Thank you to everyone who came to the Parent Meeting last Tuesday. We shared a lot of information and got some plans set for next year. Seeing all the parents who were able to attend makes me believe that we will have a great remainder of this year, and I am looking forward to a strong, active Pack next year!

I have attached some of the information that was handed out last week, for anyone who did not get a copy or was unable to attend.

 

This coming Tuesday will be Pack Pictures during the den meetings at the church. The Bear Den have a go-see-it planned at the Police Station, but will be coming back to the church immediately after to have their pictures taken. Be sure that all Scouts wear their uniforms!!

 

On March 29th, the Bears are in charge of the Pack Meeting, and will be hosting a Carnival. As a fundraiser for the Pack, the Bears are going to have a silent auction of baked goods - cookies, cakes and pies. We are asking for 3-4 baked goods per den. The Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts are invited to participate in a great charity drive called Soles4Souls. The boys collect gently used shoes which will be re-furbished and given to people in need. If your Scout collects 25 pairs of shoes, they will receive a commemorative badge. There is more info attached to the update.

 

Registration for Bear Growl is now open. This will be on Friday evening, April 1st and includes swimming, fire dept events, sports and the climbing wall! It is from 7pm-1am, and has always been a very popular event with the boys. Sign up at www.bsacmc.org
