This spring, we approached the Lions, asking for a donation to help cover the cost of the new neckerchiefs and slides for all of the advancing Cub Scouts. They have now offered us the funds, if we are willing to volunteer some service hours to help them during the Sherburne County Fair.
They need 3 adult volunteers to work in the Lions Food Booth from 4-9 on Friday, July 15th,
and 3 adult volunteers to work from 5-10pm on Sunday, July 17th.
The Lions need to know as soon as possible, so please check your calendars and fill in a time on the Sign Up sheet ASAP.
I have created a Google Doc to sign up for a shift, and the link is below.
There will be 12 shifts that need to be filled, and each shift will be 2.5 hours.
The adult volunteer will get in to the fair for free - just tell them at the gate that you are working in the Lion's Booth. I will provide them with the names on our Sign Up list to verify.
This is a great opportunity for us. It will help us maintain our Pack account, and pay for all the achievements that your boys will earn during the upcoming year, and it is also a wonderful way to strengthen our relationship with the Elk River Lions.
