Cub Scout Pack 111

As mentioned in the previous Update, Pack 111 will be collecting annual dues from each Scout. 

But even with the annual dues, the Pack will still need the extra income generated by fundraising.  

and we strongly encourage all the boys to take part. Getting out in the community and selling is a 

great learning experience and can bring a sense of accomplishment of a goal being met. This is 

also a way to increase their individual Scout account, which can be used to pay the annual dues. 

Popcorn and Wreath fundraiser packets will be available starting this Wednesday, August 30th 

and you can start selling popcorn and wreaths as soon as you get your packet. Be sure to stop by 

either Lincoln or Parker Open House or the Sign Up for Scouting Night at Parker to get your 

information as soon as possible. There are tons of great prizes to choose from for selling popcorn, 

so be sure to look over the Prize Sheet with your son. Also, click here for the folder containing the 

Show & Sell sign up sheets, as this is an excellent (and easy) way to participate in the fundraiser. 

                                                

Open House night for Lincoln Elementary is on August 30th and Parker Elementary is on 

August 31st. Although we are not allowed to distribute Cub Scout info in the schools, in the past 

we have put fliers on windshields during the Open Houses. We still need a few people to help 

with this during the Open House times (Lincoln 5:00-6:30pm on the 30th and Parker 5:30-7:00pm on the 31st). 

Sign up for Scouting night will be on Sept 21st. We will be at Parker Elementary, and are 

looking for a few parents to help with greeting and talking to prospective Scouts and their families.

 Ideally, it is great to have someone from every den on hand, so the new parents can talk directly to

 someone in their son's group.
